Jeff Beck's legendary power trio Beck, Bogert & Appice burned bright and fast. Within months of their formation, Melody Maker hailed them as "the most ferocious rhythm section extant"—a successor to Cream in both power and innovation. Their eponymous 1973 debut proved the hype was justified.
This deluxe collection captures the band at their peak: live recordings from May 1973 at Koseinenkin Hall in Osaka, Japan, and performances from 1974. These sessions have rarely circulated outside Japan and have been out of print for decades. Pressed on grape vinyl and exclusive to the USA market, this 4LP set stands as a definitive document of one of rock's most explosive—and brief—supergroups. Essential for Beck devotees and progressive rock collectors.
